Nancy J. Johnson is coauthor of The Wonder of It All (2007). She is a professor of English/language arts education at Western Washington University, where she teaches courses in children's literature, young adult literature, English/language arts methods, and writing. A former elementary and high school teacher, she consults with teachers and in school districts locally, nationally, and internationally. Nancy is the coauthor of Literature Circles Resource Guide (2001), Getting Started with Literature Circles (1999), and Literature Circles and Response (1995).
